Executive Vice President (EVP) Sales

We are seeking a highly dynamic and exceptional Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales to be responsible for overseeing and directing the sale of the company’s products or services in the U.S. The role is responsible for developing sales strategies and forecasts sales volumes for all products/channels in the U.S. This leadership role is responsible for the development, coordination, management, oversight, and evaluation of the organization’s sales and business development activities. As a member of the senior management team, the EVP, Sales participates in team management, performance management, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting initiatives, and systems initiatives, in addition to problem-solving and process development for the department. Focus on delivering measurable results within the organization that leads to outstanding program execution for our clients. Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies for business cases, market requirements, and go-to-market plans for all product lines.
  • Oversees and directs market research, competitor analyses, trade-off analyses, product acceptance studies, other customer service and retention monitoring processes and initiatives.
  • Develop and define sales strategies and authorizing its implementation for the overall Sales organization.
  • Measure and evaluate business strategy implementation against intended results. Achieve P&L targets; manage business unit resources to deliver EBITDA* objective [*Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization].
  • Own and drive revenue growth. Lead team to identify and secure new revenue opportunities.
  • Responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining talent using company-wide processes, tools and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Retail Sales/Marketing or equivalent experience required; MBA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 12+ years of experience within Consumer Packaged Goods Industry in management and business development role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment, and managing a team of direct and indirect reports
  • Skill in supervising to include delegating responsibility, training and evaluating the performance
  • Conflict management skills
  • Ability to direct, lead, coach, and develop people
