Accounts Receivable Specialist- Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist who will lead to assist the department manager with day to day responsibilities including training associates, delegating work assignments as well as reconciling, monthly close and other ad hoc reporting as necessary. This position will assist with the policies and procedures for the department, ensuring they are reviewed, revised and implemented correctly.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between employees and manager regarding personnel issues and workload distribution. Train associates as directed by manager.
  • Assist manager with reviewing and posting cash receipts, invoice billings and revenue in Navision.
  • Review, revise, and implement policies and procedures in conjunction with the department manager.
  • Generate reports, conduct monthly close, reconcile and address variances, and scorecards.
  • Document and process forms to correct receivables.
  • Analysis and application of payments in Company’s Order Management System.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required equivalent experience is required
  • 2-4 years of experience working in accounting; accounts receivable function preferred. Any lead or supervisory experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure development techniques
  • Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
