Research and Development Chef

Our Research & Development opportunity provides a culinary chef the ability to:

  • Lead
  • Present
  • Create

In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating new ideas/concepts during the innovation & ideation stages, while supporting culinary team members.  You’ll also be a key liaison between the account team and project managers when dealing with client-facing events & projects, planning, budgets, and forecasting. 

In this role, you’ll: 

  • Create and build client relations by displaying your innovative culinary skills.
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members promoting brand awareness by working as a consultant to determine and resolve client opportunities.
  • Create, articulate, and present creative culinary concepts.
  • Research consumer trends.
  • Translate challenges/trends into actionable culinary applications.
  • Maintain facilities to meet safety codes and requirements.

 Required Skills:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts, Culinology, or related field.
  • 3+ Years’ experience in the Food Service industry 
  • 3+ Years’ experience in Culinary Research & Development, Sales, or Marketing role
  • Knowledge of current nutrition, food, and food industry guidelines
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, manufacturing, distribution, food safety, corporate strategy, and profitability
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office
