SVP Talent Acquisition - High Volume


Position Summary

Advantage Solutions has an exciting opportunity to re-imagine its high volume Talent Acquisition function to fuel a high-growth people-centric organization that recruits more than 100,000 associates annually. The Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition will provide overall strategic direction for the design and delivery of enterprise talent acquisition programs and processes that will amplify the company’s strategic growth initiatives. This influential senior leader will create best-in-class high volume recruiting strategies and programs to ensure successful acquisition of top talent, at scale. The successful candidate will lead a recruiting team of more than 100 recruiters, with the necessary agility to support evolving business needs. This position reports to the EVP of Operations and can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

 Job Duty


· Create and execute high volume talent acquisition strategies to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation, position Advantage Solutions as an employer of choice and maximize the company’s return on staffing investment

·  Lead and manage the workforce planning process and end-to-end talent acquisition activities to support both short-term initiatives and longer-term strategic growth plans

· Architect and implement an employment branding strategy that effectively articulates Advantage Solutions’ associate value proposition to attract top talent utilizing a variety of tools and platforms

· Partner with the company’s enterprise communications team to extend employer branding in internal and external communications

· Leverage social media, artificial intelligence tools and best-in-class recruiting technologies to connect with a diverse talent network

· Partner with the company’s DE&I Board to drive a diversity-focused recruiting strategy

· Build relationships and partner with business unit leaders and executive team members to provide strategy and support for a candidate-centric experience, in addition to developing employee referral, internship, college/university relations and other initiatives and programs based on individual business needs

· Establish and implement metrics to measure success including cost per hire, applicant flow, time to fill, hiring manager and new associate satisfaction and establish a regular communication cadence for reporting these metrics to both the executive team, as well as hiring managers

· Regularly evaluate and benchmark hiring systems and processes to deliver continuous improvements and consistently ensure an outstanding candidate experience

· Develop, manage and inspire a high-performing team of passionate, high volume staffing professionals

· Stay abreast of new trends in the industry and marketplace and maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends, related analytics, and labor laws that have implications on the profitability of the company and its recruiting efforts

· Actively lead and champion staffing technology applications and process improvements, partnering with key internal stakeholders to drive implementation and adoption

· Build and manage an extended external recruiting support team to support surge work or other ramp initiatives to include negotiation, selection and management of third-party vendors and external recruitment partners to provide seamless, consistent, cost-effective contract services

·  Implement, monitor and maintain staffing compliance standards at federal, state and local level



















Supervisory Responsibilities


Direct Reports

- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources


Indirect Reports

- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports


Travel and/or Driving Requirements


- Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job 

- Travel up to          5%


Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: (Required):    Bachelor's Degree           or equivalent experience


      (Preferred):            Master's Degree  Or equivalent experience                     


Field of Study/Area of Experience:

12+ Years of experience in progressive, high volume Talent Acquisition experience, with a demonstrated success leading a high-performing talent acquisition team


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Demonstrated track record of success in implementing high volume talent programs at scale that support aggressive business growth in a competitive talent marketplace
  • Expertise in managing full cycle, candidate-centric recruitment practices, including compliant screening, creative sourcing strategies and tools, competency-based interviewing tactics, effective negotiating practices and a history of successful candidate closure and timely onboarding
  • Strong financial acumen with previous P&L management (both recruiting and employment marketing), including return on staffing investment goals
  • Entrepreneurial drive, results-orientation and agility, combined with demonstrated ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive experience in contract/vendor management and negotiating rates, including vendors, search relationships, and third-party staff augmentation firms
  • Previous experience working in a matrixed business environment, with comparable volume, scale, and complexity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven success managing multiple internal stakeholder relationships and diverse recruiting needs (cross-group collaboration)
